Tomlin Order

A court order in the English civil justice system under which a case is stayed, on terms agreed between the parties and which are included in a schedule to the order. Typically a Tomlin order is a settlement in which one or more parties must do certain things to resolve the dispute. It is essentially similar to a Consent Decree in the US.
