Refers to a pleading style where the complaint, motion, request-for-arbitration is written in a narrative style, with whole sentences, conjunctions, quotations, etc. In essence a literary style telling a story. Narrative pleading is typical in US and international practice and can be contracted with the skeleton argument/pleading style typical for example in the English courts.
