A uniform statute drafted by the Uniform Laws Commission and adopted, as of December 2023 by 48 states and the District of Columbia (the exceptions are New York (where it is pending) and North Carolina) that defines trade secrets and provides for claims under state law for their misappropriation, injunctive relief and other remedies including attorney’s fees.
