• An archaic term of insult for a studious person, i.e., an older expression than “nerd.”
• An acronym for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats – as used in the phrase “SWOT analysis.” A SWOT analysis is usually regarded as a key element in a business or project plan.
