Smile Test

An extremely loose definition of what is a colourable/colorable argument or assertion, which suggests that if the lawyer can make it without smiling/laughing – or while keeping a straight face, it is enough. It usually suggests that the lawyer applying it is not applying professional ethics very rigorously.
