Exim Bank

Usually refers to the Export Import Bank of the United States, a Federal Government agency that extends loans and export guarantees for sales of U.S. goods and services, some times called the ‘Bank of Boeing’ because so many loans are for Boeing Aircraft. Analogous institutions exist in other countries, some also known as Exim Bank, for example the Export Import Banks of India, Malaysia, Thailand, Hungary, Turkey, China, Jamaica, and Korea. The Japanese Equivalent, JExIm has been reorganized and renamed the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).
