365(n)

Provision of the US Bankruptcy code, 11 U.S.C. §365(n).  Under US bankruptcy laws the trustee in bankruptcy has the power to reject Executory Contracts, i.e., contracts that are ongoing.  In principle an intellectual property license can be considered an executory contract and this created significant difficulties for licensees.  As a result §365 was amended to add section (n) which allows a licensee to in elect to continue the license.
