Term used in contrast to a “Dry License” or Bare [Bones] Patent License describing a license that includes more than just a license to patents, but includes know-how, commercially useful data, documentation, etc. useful to exploiting and commercialising the licensed technology. Typically a Wet License attracts higher license fees or royalties.
