Though loosely used, a “technology license” generally means more than a patent-only license, but rather a license that enables the licensee to implement a technology – a wet-license. It can and will often include a range of Intellectual Property (Rights) but also training, data useful for market authorisations, etc. Technology licenses generally attracts much greater royalty rates than Bare [Bones] Patent License since they are much more enabling.
