A standard franchise offering statement and guidelines developed by the North American Securities Administrators Organization (NASAA – which consists of state appointed representatives) which required to be filed and maintained with the state government in certain U.S. states known as Registration States. At the time of writing Registration States include California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
